How can other companies sell their arms for so little? It seems that they are only advertising either entry level recreation arms. When you call to order these, they often times try to "up-sell" you the regular race arms, a bit of "bait and switch".

We also offer and entry level racing A-arm, but we don't push it in all of our ads. While they are still top quality, these arms simply do not have the extra gussets that some pro level racers may need. We stand behind these arms 100% for the entry level racer and rider, while encouraging the more aggressive racers to buy the fully gusseted arms.

While others are selling a recreation quality arm, ours are full race arms priced for the entry level racer. JD Performance doesn't cut corners when it comes to final quality, but we see the need for an entry level product.

Camber Adjustment

On our to A Arms, the ball joint slides through the end of the arm, with a jam nut on the outside and lock nut on the inside. Camber adjustment is done by simply loosening one nut and tightening the other. Most of our competition threads the top ball joint into the arm, so adjusting the camber would require "breaking" the ball joint loose from the spindle then turning the ball joint... not very fast or easy. For those of you who are worried about the jam nut on our set up, simply use a little Locktite.

With all extended length A-Arms, JD Performance recommends that you get aftermarket front shocks that are set up for your paticular weight and riding style. Stock brake lines will work with +1 and +2 length A-arms, but longer brake lines will be required for any +2+1 or longer.
